Born in the kitchen, raised on spice
Samsāra started in my kitchen, postpartum, with three-month-old twins. The protein bars I was living on failed on flavor, aftertaste, or texture, sometimes all three. So I started experimenting with the spices I already had on hand.
Friends and family started asking for the bars I was making, and eventually I decided to go all in. The protein aisle didn't have anything like what I was making, and it didn't have us in mind. When my parents started eating my bars, the mission grew sharper. 1 in 4 South Asians live with diabetes, and the nutrition aisle hasn't caught up to our flavors or our health. Samsāra is my answer: real cultural flavors built around the protein, fiber, and low sugar we actually need.

Why “Samsāra”?
In Sanskrit, samsāra means the cycle of rebirth, the idea that endings become beginnings. For us, it's the moment a pantry staple becomes a protein bar. A kitchen experiment becomes a brand. A new mom becomes a founder. Every bar is a small act of reinvention.
